Introduction
Let's Talk About Your Landscape Project!
It all begins with a phone call! Once we connect by phone, we can book time to meet onsite and walk through your property. We'll talk about your project priorities and wish list. We'll discuss design styles and who will be using the site. This meeting sets the tone for the landscape design and clarifies your personal preferences.

The Starting Point!
The 'base plan' for a project locates lot lines; house walls, windows, and doors; any elevation changes; existing structures like sheds or decks; and larger vegetation, as well as light and soil conditions. Both are needed to create the base plan for the concept plan. We complete this work.
The Concept Plan
Laying Out How All The Landscape Components Fit Together!
“For me, a landscape design is a 50/50 split with half the time spent in my head creating wonderful spaces, while the other half is spent understanding my client's needs.”
The concept plan is an over-all layout or road map for your landscape project. It identifies and prioritizes your wish list items. This plan allows you to see 'on paper' the layout of spaces and how they flow together. This design could include photographs, pictures, or simple sketches to help express the finished product.
The Technical Drawings
Creating The Road Map For Your Project!
I have years of experience in landscape construction and plant installation. I know how essential the construction and design details are for building your project.
Landscape Packages are customized for your project and could include the following pages:
The COLOUR Presentation brings a plan to Life. Colour communicates depth, texture, and gives you a better understanding of the completed project.
The HARDSCAPE Plan including construction details and material selections. Hardscaping forms the backbone of a landscape project. We want to get right, the first time!
The PLANTING Plan including proposed plants, quantities, and nursery sizing. Selecting and blending plants is an 'art'. Placing plants in the right location is a 'science'.
The LIGHTING Plan offering fixture selections and techniques for low voltage lighting systems. Night lighting adds aesthetic and functional benefits to your landscape.
The PLANT Book exclusively to your project includes plant information for all new plants, a photograph, description of the plant, and after-care tips.
The SITE Plan specify details required for city, township, and conservation permits.
Any ENGINEERED Plans can be created through our partnerships with engineers and structural designers.
